A full day of full immersion for the small team of executives intent on discussing future strategies in peace away from the distractions of the office. The beetroot risotto creamed with Morlacco del Grappa was elected 'Villa Bornello dish' for its obvious chromatic affinities. We have before and after photos of the fillet Wellington. The gigantic Aglione of the Val di Chiana, added to the 'bigoli in salsa' instead of the onion, it was a welcome surprise. The Barbera label 'by mistake' that accompanied part of the libations is from a niche Piedmontese producer. Thanks to the chefs and their team for leading the day by illustrating the history and particularities of the dishes, of the ingredients, of the wines. This is also part of the particular type of corporate events who we love to host here at villa is that, fireplace front, make the day exciting, intimate and productive.

Plan: upon arrival an initial welcome with zen cake (which never hurts and then goes well with the Japanese lake 🙂 ), followed by projection of projects/results/strategies for the future. We then divide into teams and have fun cooking and then presenting our dishes. Chalkboards appear, chalks and prosecco that accompany the 'fearable’ jury created on the spot and which churns out votes both on the food itself and on the way of presenting it and telling it through jokes and movie quotes (they remember The Big Binge, Eating Drinking man woman, Chocolat, Ratatouille and the inevitable turtle broth ‘ Babette's Feast)
