Mini 50th wedding anniversary for the cheerful group accompanying the newlyweds. Between friends, medical colleagues and a slew of grandchildren of all ages, visitors populated interiors and the park in the still warm sun of a mild October.
Welcome with an aperitif under the porch mirroring yourself in the pond and then setting up indoors. The bravest and the green thumbs took advantage of it for a wide ride before lunch served in the lounge.
E’ only one of the various events that the villa can accommodate, and it is a good example of an 'easy opportunity’ for which it was designed. Dry and not sumptuous, bizarre and not swampy, natural, surrounded by greenery, cultured but not too much. Not aseptic, rather flirtatious. “It makes a lot of home”, as someone said.
They couldn't give us a better compliment.
